Threat actors have been increasingly active in carrying out cyberattacks and engaging in data extortion.

As a result, there has been a rise in the demand for reactive and advisory services. Partnerships with cybersecurity service providers and initiatives focused on training and education are being established to support the partner ecosystem. That said, CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. is seeing increased threat actors affecting organizations across the markets.

“A lot of organizations are impacted by some of the aggressive behaviors of threat actors in the market today,” said Tom Etheridge (pictured), chief global professional services officer at CrowdStrike. “We continue to see both reactive services growth from the professional services organization and with a lot of the SEC regulations and other assessment and advisory-related requirements that we see boards and organizations starting to seek from service providers.”

Etheridge spoke with theCUBE industry analysts Lisa Martin and Dave Vellante at the Fal.Con event, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how organizations should prioritize cybersecurity investments and utilize tools from providers such as CrowdStrike for effective risk management and threat response. Platform security

In order to effectively handle risks and respond promptly to threats, organizations must give importance to cybersecurity investments and establish a connection between top-level management and security teams, Etheridge explained. Tools, such as those from CrowdStrike, offer advanced security capabilities for detection, prevention, response and visibility.

Global systems integrators are actively exploring the potential of CrowdStrike’s Falcon LogScale platform to improve their services and deliver added value to their customers within the cybersecurity industry, according to Etheridge.

“First thing is we’ve been investing a lot in cloud, bringing in talent that can help us and help organizations understand how to detect and respond to breaches in the cloud,” she said. “We have a number of cloud security assessment offerings, and I think the new product releases with our Bionic acquisition are really going to help us accelerate what we’re doing around the cloud.”
